WOW!!! Better than I could've imagined... WOW.. absolutely blown away honestly. I wasnt really expecting much of a change in the dogs even though this product had great reviews I was skeptical to say the least. But we plugged both of them in and within mere minutes our crazy chaotic household of mini doodles, a cockapoo and one lab 13 dogs in total was calmer. And yes I said 1-3...lol. Disappointed I gave a 3 star because I'm not really sure if it work. I use it for 2 days already and I really dont see a different. I got it because my dog get really bad anxiety around 3pm. Hoping it will help him stay calm until I get home. But it doesn't seem to help. The plug in is really cute. It just like any other plug in. You pop in the oil bottle in and plug in easy.

My Dog is Sleeping Like a Baby My 5 year-old-golden retriever is generally fairly calm, well-behaved and is an absolute sweetheart, but recently he became very fidgety at bedtime and during the night. I wasn't sure it was working because there isn't a strong scent, thought after checking it a few times, I did notice a faint smell-- which is actually good because I am allergic to lots of different scents. I plugged it into an outlet right near my dog's bed. The first couple of nights I didn't really notice a difference, but on the third night, he got into his bed, and went right to sleep. I'm a light sleeper and usually wake up when he moves around, but that night, he didn't wake up and wiggle around or roam around the house. It's been a few weeks now, and he's been sleeping like a baby!! It's amazing. We are both sleeping peacefully every night-- and I've also noticed that he likes to nap in his bed in the bedroom during the day now instead of his usual napping spot in the family room. The timing can't be a coincidence....There is something about the diffuser that clearly helps him to relax! If your dog needs a helping hand to relax, I would highly recommend trying this diffuser!
Worked well for my dogs, but unfortunately I can’t recommend it due to a safety concern I really wanted to love this diffuser because, when it was working, I genuinely noticed a difference in both of my dogs. I have a puppy who was working on crate training and house training, and the diffuser seemed to help him settle in his crate and have fewer accidents in the house. It also helped my other dog with anxiety during thunderstorms. I really liked that it was convenient to turn on when they needed it and turn off when they didn’t. Over the course of about two months, I probably used it 8–10 times, primarily when my dogs really needed the extra support. More recently, I started using it overnight while both dogs were in their crates, turning it off in the morning. Unfortunately, the other night I turned it on before bed and later noticed that my house had developed a strong odor of burning plastic. At first, we didn’t think the diffuser was the cause, so we checked other appliances and possible sources throughout the house. By the next morning, the smell of burning plastic had become noticeably stronger, so we decided to check the diffuser and it was, in fact, the source. There was still oil left in the bottle, and when we checked the diffuser, the heating element was very hot. It seems that the issue was with the heating element rather than the diffuser simply running out of oil. Regardless of the cause, the strong burning-plastic smell made me very uncomfortable continuing to use it. Another concern for me is the price and longevity of the product. For the price point, I find it difficult to justify having to replace everything after only six months, which is the recommended timeframe for replacing the heating element. Considering how expensive the diffuser and its components are, I would expect it to have a longer usable lifespan. The cost of continually replacing the necessary components doesn't seem to match the longevity of the product. I’m especially disappointed because the diffuser really did seem to help my dogs, and I loved how easy and convenient it was to use. However, I can’t justify continuing to plug in a device that has produced a strong burning-plastic odor, especially when it is being used around my pets and left on overnight.
Worth a try I’d have to say I had neutral results, but easy to use. I’m not entirely sure if this made a noticeable difference in calming my dog, but we didn't experience any negative side effects or issues either. To be fair, it might just be hard for a pheromone diffuser to tone down full 6-month-old puppy energy! Overall, it's fine, but hard to say if it truly worked for us.
Several problems, one solution I was really hesitant about this product because my dog is extremely heavy. Imperative, he is a puppy, he is a Dalmatian mix with a Labrador and he is really in his months where he wants to destroy everything, bark at everyone, he plays with my cats and is very aggressive, because he has a lot of strength, he doesn't stop all day, every day I find something destroyed outside my yard I was even thinking of giving him away, were he can have more space to play because I just couldn't stand all the destruction anymore. She will have had now four homes and 1 foster in one year. I know she's probably gonna have anxiety / displacement issues. Back story on me : I have trained police dogs and service dogs since I was 17 and i'm 65 now (she will be my last and for myself). I have worked with people to help them train goldens, but myself have never completly trained one. I usually specialize on retraining for PTSD, assistance for service members and some police work. German shepherds, belgian malinois, australian shepherds and border collies, dachshunds and quite a few gladiator breeds. Those are all totally different dogs from a golden & Labs. I understand this.That's why i'm asking all of you for some advice. A little backstory on her. Her name is being changed to Rodeo. And I know how to do that. She JUST TURNED 1 YEAR A WEEK AGO 1st. Breeder: gave her up at 8 weeks (?) to become a service dog (in training). 2nd trainer; had her until she was 6 or 7 months and trainer suddenly died. Given to family member to finish training. Lasted 6-7 months appx 3rd.trainer/owner: could not handle anxiety of loss after two weeks gave her a "friend" to foster. Lasted 2 weeks. 4th home ??? Removed from environment ( law enforcement) due to drugs and filth and 15 other dogs. Lasted less than 1 month maybe 1 week (unsure). Foster care (my friend): received her in terrible condition. She would get stressed out not leave kennel, not eat or would pee constantly when someone came near her, skittish. Long story she was supposed to be a service dog but the trainer died when she was 6 months. Pricey, Time will Tell if it's Worth It. I decided to try these Pawsy Dog Calming Diffusers to help reduce some stress and anxiety behaviors in my dog.
